Emergency Ambulance Provision

EMS offers NHS ambulance trusts an integrated range of operational resources to use in accordance with their operational deployment and System Status Plan. Company IM&T initiatives, including the widespread deployment of Terrafix, already expedite service integration and will shortly offer trusts a total clinical audit capability and full electronic operational reporting.

With demanding operational and service targets, including Call Connect from 1 April 2008, EMS recognises the vital role Independent Sector ambulance services providers will increasingly play in the NHS’ efforts to further improve operational performance.
